"But these things I plan for you won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed." Habakkuk 2:3

I finally know the meaning of patience...

I began my journey about a year ago in hopes to move to South Korea to teach English. I gained interest in South Korea through a program sponsored by DBU that allows you to teach English in South Korea for two years while simultaneously working towards a Master's in Global Leadership. I have been working with the director of DBU Asia in Suwon, S. Korea for the past 5 months trying to find a job there. However, up until about a month ago, there were no leads in sight, and I was beginning to get discouraged. I couldn't believe how long the process was taking and that I was supposed to leave for Korea in just two months and still had no job. Thankfully, the Lord provided me with so many assurances that this is what I'm meant to do, and that S. Korea is where I'm meant to end up for now.

Thankfully, about two weeks ago, I was offered a position at Central Christian Academy in Suwon, S. Korea. I still am left without many details, actually most of them! I don't know where I will be living, what grade I'm teaching, or an exact departure date! I'm supposed to be there in about 3 weeks, and I have so many things left unplanned. This surprisingly does not have me worried at all (I can't say the same for my mom!), but I just understand that everything is going to work out as it should, and I'm just trying to be as flexible as possible.

Some very good friends of mine, Anthony and Cameron, are also planning to leave sometime beginning or mid February for Suwon. Please pray for the three of us as we continue to seek the Lord's will and that we will be patient as so many details are left unfinished. Hopefully more to come soon!
